Dear Moderator,

If you have any reservations with posting my response regarding Attourny Herb Brail and Adoption Agency Director Christine Brail, please feel free to contact me directly via e-mail.

Since our unfortunate experiences with these professionals, I have tried to find a good way to address our issues, so that no other couple have to experience what we have been put through. There really is not much in the lines of networking to organizations and such to address these matters. Herb Brail is the current president of the American Academy of Adoption Attourny's. Contacting them is not really an option as the formal process is to contact the President.

I read your article and I am one of those people that want to adopt but I am overwhelmed with how to begin, I tried the agencies but it's too expensive and I would rather use my savings to provide for the adoptive child. I am currently seeking a birth mother who is willing to work with me and my attorney with out any agencies and fees. But I am having no luck at the moment.

Stanford University provides a $10,000 adoption reimbursement for eligible employees, and you can use the reimbursement for two adoptions. Our family took advantage of this reimbursement when we adopted and felt quite fortunate.
